Editorial policy
Bold Tennis Journal aims to be clear about what is known, careful about what is uncertain and open when something needs correcting. We publish explanatory writing about tennis design and culture, not claims of special access or first-hand testing.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable sources and use precise language when describing rules, history or design. We distinguish established information from interpretation, avoid filling gaps with guesswork and revise wording when it could leave readers with a misleading impression.
Independence and partner material
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a promise of favourable coverage. Paid placements, sponsored material and other partner content are identified clearly as such, and are kept distinct from independent editorial pieces. A partnership does not guarantee an article, endorsement or particular conclusion.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or an unclear passage, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review specific, verifiable concerns and update material when a correction is warranted; substantial changes are identified so readers can understand what changed.
Images and illustrations
Images are chosen to support the subject and not to imply evidence they do not provide. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where that is the case, they are presented as illustrations rather than documentary photographs.
